WoodRidge is a spacious single story building with individual apartments. There are no stairs to climb or ramps to maneuver. There are many open common areas conducive to socializing with other residents.
APARTMENTS
With a choice of a spacious studio, one bedroom or two bedroom apartments, all of our apartments are designed to feel like home. Features include a kitchenette with a refrigerator and microwave, a private full bathroom designed with safety as a priority, two large closets with plenty of storage space, decorative window treatments and lighting, as well as wall to wall carpeting. Heat and air conditioning is controlled individual by the apartment resident. Numerous parking spaces are conveniently located near the apartments for residents who drive, as well as for their visitors.
One of the greatest advantages of supportive living is the security of knowing that assistance is only a moment away. All of the apartments are equipped with emergency response systems, which are readily accessible from two places within each apartment. Safety checks are made daily by our staff for additional security.
COURTYARD
We have a secured courtyard filled with luscious colorful landscaping for those who would like to take a walk in a beautiful ark like setting without leaving the premises. Within the courtyard, there is also a patio, strategically placed benches and a landscaped garden. Residents can enjoy the fresh air and the beautiful grounds at anytime.
LIVING ROOM
We have a living room filled with all kinds of interesting things to do. We have a large flat screen TV for everyone to watch, an area for private dining with family, a wonderful array of books to choose from our library, and a pool table for all to enjoy. The most unique item is our 3 sided fire place. Residents can sit and enjoy each other’s company or just sit by the fire to read a good book or the newspaper. What a relaxing way to keep warm!
DINING ROOM
We have a dining room that holds 60 plus residents in one sitting. There are windows to see the beauty outside while enjoying the company of other residents while dining. You are served three delicious sit down meals a day. Menus are designed by our registered dietician and thoughtfully prepared fresh daily by our culinary staff. Meals are nutritious and offer variety and choice. We also have a Café style snack bar which offers snacks and beverages 24 hours a day.
THEATER
For those of you who enjoy movies, we have a movie theater with a large screen to enjoy your favorite movies. And don’t forget about the popcorn. We have a theater style popcorn popper to create the perfect movie mood. You may schedule the theater for your family and friends to watch a family video, favorite sporting event or a movie. This is at no charge. Remember…This is your home. These are your amenities. We are here just to help when needed.
LAUNDRY ROOM
We have a spacious laundry room for you to use if you wish. Laundry detergent is provided. We also have an ironing board and iron if you need them.
ACTIVITY ROOM
This is where all the action happens. You will find a refrigerator, sink, stove and microwave all available for you to use. There is plenty of seating available and you may schedule the activity room for family gatherings. Just call to reserve your date/time. This is free of charge. Remember… This is your home. These are your amenities.
BEAUTY SHOP
We do have a stylist that is scheduled every week that you may make appointments with. This is an outside service and in not included in our fees. You are more than welcome to use the beauty shop or the beautician that you have used for years may use our shop at no charge. Just give us a call to schedule a time that works for all of us.
