Admissions

WoodRidge Supportive Living Residence is a participant in the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services Supportive Living Program – a program designed as an alternative to skilled nursing care which brings affordable housing and a wide array of services to seniors 65 and older. In order to be become eligible for residency at WoodRidge, individuals:

  • Must be 65 years or older
  • May not have a serious or persistent mental illness
  • Must have negative Tuberculosis test results completed within the last 90 days

No one is denied residency due to their financial situation. While WoodRidge is a private pay facility, financial assistance is available and the facility accepts Medicaid payments as well. A member of WoodRidge’s staff is available to assist with the entire admission process including the financial paperwork and applying for aid.

For those who cannot afford private pay and receive Medicaid, and for those who worry that their savings may run out, WoodRidge offers the ideal alternative to nursing home care. At WoodRidge, you will maintain your independence while residing in an upscale comfortable facility surrounded by your peers and receive quality services combined with all the amenities of home.
